You are what you eat. I’m sure you’ve all heard this saying, right? Well, did you ever figure out the true meaning? This saying is about cannibalism. Let me explain.
You are what you eat, so if you eat corn, you become corn. If you eat a hamburger, you become a cow. So, if this is true, then the only way to save your humanity is by eating humans. Cannibalism is the only true way to retain your humanity is the coming years of strife.
So do yourself a favor… Eat your neighbor. They’ll understand.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted but we have been rather busy here. Setting up a new life tale some time hehe.
Just figured I’d post a lil update since I was up.
Life here is going awesomely, I am still meeting new family and getting to better know others. Settling into weekly routines and learning my way around a new city slash country. It is truly beautiful here and I am reminded of that every time we go out. Even in fall with the clouds overhead it’s still so full of life, a big difference from the desert I came from.
As a US citizen I didn’t need to apply for a VISA before coming here which is what we had to do to try and get DMET to the US, so I recently applied for my permit to stay here and got a shiny new sticker for my passport ( weeee finally a new use for that thing). They said it can take up to a year to make a determination if they will approve the application or not, tho they said there is really no reason that they wouldn’t approve it. it is interesting to note that when we applied for DMET’s VISA it took us 2 weeks of filling in books of papers and sending forms and documents just to be able to file the application in the US and here it took me like 5 minutes to fill out the application.
Well now everything is great, Lynda is in school here, a special school for foreigners to teach them the Dutch language as fast as possible. She seems to be getting the hang of it pretty good. I am also learning how to talk to everyone here tho it’s a bit slower since I’m not in a school but DMET’s doing great at teaching me and helping Lynda heh.
As a present for getting my ’stay sticker’ DMET got us 2 lil baby kittens only 6 weeks old. A lil striped boy cat, black and an odd arctic grey, and a black long haired girl.. she has white paws and a white chest, named Orion and Nebula. we got a few pic’s I’ll try and get him to post ( we got a lot of pics to post heh).
Anyway guess I’d better get going ill :try: to post more heh now that things are settled a bit.
