My dad’s an unusual man. At age 64 he’s definitely not one to play bingo or any of that cliche crap. My dad’s awesome, and here’s a short list of randomly picked subjects showing why:

  1. He recently acquired the first full season of Heroes in glorious HDTV. He then proceeded to watch all 24 episodes in two consecutive days.
  2. I owe him my love for Sci-Fi and Star Trek in particular.
  3. He watches the same (and more) stuff on TV than I do; like House, CSI, NCIS, or hell.. even old episodes of Sliders and Dark Angel. He also used to watch Buffy, Charmed and the likes. Like me, he’ll watch anything remotely connected to scifi or fantasy.
  4. He enabled me to learn and use computers ever since I can remember, having bought damn nearly all of them starting with the Philips Videopac G7000 (Magnavox Odyssey), through the Atari XL/ST up to the PC’s we use today.
  5. He’s a freak when it comes to electronics. His house is ‘littered’ with PC’s, HD recorders, a big plasma TV (almost too big to watch), and more. Even his cell has Windows on it, complete with MSN, Skype, Windows Media Player, etc..
  6. Having worked as an electrical engineer most of his life, he knows more about electronics then I ever will.

There’s more, but I think this is enough to show you why I think that.
Happy father’s day, dad.

Been rather busy.. We moved into our new house, yay. 2 bedrooms upstiars/downstairs with a garden and a yard. Loving that! We even have rose bushes out back! been working screwey hours so I haven’t had a chance to do much of anything. Took a few weeks off school but its back to the books for me. Hopefully i’ll be able to update more often heh. Off to work >.> such is life
