I find myself bored. Not a damn thing is happening within my life, and the angst is slowly creeping in.

Strangely, the pure insanity of aka-sha’s children and their friends helped quite a bit.

Then again, maybe it was just having something close to human contact for the first time in weeks.

Recently, a chat regular (Doc Faustus) turned the rest of us onto a browser based online strategy type game. This game is Travian. I’d like to invite you all to join us on there, and join the Siblings of Pain alliance! Kiki, DMET, Yal, and I are all there!

When you join, just make sure you’re ethier in the south-west, or north-west, and send any of us a PM for an invite! We go by the same names we use on here.

Hope to see you there!

***EDIT***
Yeah, I’m a dumbass. I forgot to mention that we’re on SERVER 5! So you gotta join that server to join us.

OK i think i need to give a lil background info here first

When I was about 18 I fell in the snow and landed on a curb resulting in a lower lumbar break. The Dr.s told me I would never walk after this, and I did. I fell 2 more times in that same year rebreaking the same area and creating further damage. The Dr.s told me i would NEVER walk out of the hospital that time, again… I did. The bone Dr. that I saw told me that the damage was deteriorating my spine and disks and by the time I was 30 (at the latest) I would be permanently paralised and in a wheelchair.

OK.. now..

Those of you close to me know that recently I injured my back at work and have been seeing a new Dr. and Physical Therapist.

Ok.. WELL…

This Dr. sent my x-rays to a Chiropractic Specialist assigned to workers comp cases.

Review of my x-rays shows : NO Further damage !

They reviewed my x-rays over the last 10 or so years and it shows that there is not further damage to my spine! IN FACT.. it appears that some of the bone mass that was lost in my fall and convelesance after is regrowing! Since my inital injury occured when I was under 25 and I was put on a heavy dose of calcium the bone is repairing itself.

OK.. now.. you may ask.. well if its repairing itself why do I feel so much pain and have issues walking…

Well it also appears I have a *very mild* curvature of my spine called Scoliosis. Which undermines the strength of my back and causes pressure on the sciatic nerve ..which I DID injure and cause damage to in my falls. However Scoliosis is 100% treatable, tho not cureable. I will have to alter my lifestyle drastically but this is something I had planned to do anyway.

So… in conclusion.. I am NOT headed for a wheelchair… I can resume a normal life and all the things normal ppl can do… I will be able to walk my daughter down the aisle, and play with my future Grand-children! I will have to begin treatment of the scoliosis but right now that is only the diet and exercise I knew I needed anyway. MRI’s are in my future and now that we know what it is, we can monitor it.

I just had my life handed back to me today and a new out look for my future… All things are possible now, things I never thought would be possible. I am thankful for this chance given back to me to spend a full future with my beloved and my children.

Life is good!

Here’s what I got for my birthday from my family and friends.
(Of which I may or may not write somewhat of a recap of that event later.)
Thanks everyone!

Gifts
Cards, money, a book with lots of pictures that covers about a thousand years of America’s history, photo paper, kitty statue, some chocolate, coupons, a sweater and a t-shirt, and a whoooole bunch of picture frames! (so I can look at my darling no matter where I turn.)

Also, my beloved gave me these beautiful gifts a few days early: Gift
A silver ring that fits so perfectly it seems to be impossible to take off yet it is not too tight. The middle band spins which is good for my OCD. ^_^ I love it!!

Gift Gift
A necklace that holds a blue stone called aventurine.
It is the planetary stone for Taurus, which is my star sign.
It is said that it relieves stress and augments things such as the imagination.
Well I dunno if it does or not, but it is really pretty either way.
I wear it all the time.

These are pictures that of Gamma and Delta (who my mom redubbed to Panther and Tiger respectively) that were taken recently. They are almost a year old now.

kittens

This month, on the night of the 14th (mother’s day), Nova started moving around and forcing the other cats to give up their spots so she could lay there. I already had a box prepared for her but lately that was mostly in use by Sol, and sometimes Alpha. At around 1am or so I had to throw Sol out ’cause Nova wanted to lie in the box.She was mewing at me ever so often, so I stayed with her as I knew it couldn’t be much longer before she would deliver her litter. Every time I got up to get like a glass of water she would follow me, she did not want to be alone during this.

Having had barely any sleep for the two days before I was exhausted and after about an hour of keeping Nova company I fell asleep until she woke me up again about another hour later. It was time.

Meanwhile my loved one tells me she has to go to the hospital because she hurt herself, so I had 2 crisis to deal with while being intoxicated with drowsiness. Needless to say my brain wasn’t really prepared for that at the time and I freaked a bit. Which isn’t really that much of an unknown state to me, as I don’t like not being in control, but that’s a topic for another blog entry someday.

So Nova finally gave birth to her first kitten, pitch black and doing all the things newborn kittens do. ^_^ It took about 30 minutes for the second one to arrive, also black. All this time she did not seem to have any pain at all as she was not mewing or anything, even purring at times. Unlike last time which was a small disaster mostly cause she was still so very young herself.

After an hour the third one came, again looking completely black. Then the fourth, with yet another hour of waiting in between, and it too was black as night.

I knew this would be the last one, the kittens all appeared to be in perfect health, drinking and even purring (so cute!) so my job was done for now. I could let her rest and I should have been getting mine because many many hours had passed and I was absolutely exhausted.

Of course I did not sleep as I had to take care of other things as well. It was morning by now and I needed to get them a fresh new box to put them in to. (The pic shown is still the old box, hence the bloody mess.) So it wasn’t until I finally got back home several hours later that I could jump into bed and pass out.

I don’t really remember all of it, days tend to blur into one another when I’m so heavily deprived of sleep. So this account may not be 100% accurate.

Anyway, in the end I wound up with a grand total of 9 cats (yes, you read that right, NINE), and found out personally this time that my baby is damn near indestructible. So 9 lives all around!

Someone has begun to play with my clock radio.
Which isn’t all that bad, since the only station that comes in is classical.
Just wish they wouldn’t do it in the middle of a sexy romp.
